First frost! Break out the sprouts.

And the first birds I've seen on our bird-feeder? A chaffinch and a great tit, taking turns to prod the peanuts.

    You'll find out it rapidly becomes a squirrel-feeder, depressingly enough.

    Apparently if you mix dried chillies in with the nuts mammals won't like them but birds will. It has something to do with receptors.
